We support schools for children with hearing difficulties in Indonesia that meet our Foundation’s requirements. This means that the school must offer targeted, audio-pedagogical training and education. The hearing difficulties of a hundred children were diagnosed audiologically. They were equipped with hearing solutions which on the one hand met the required standards and on the other hand could be maintained in developing countries. In Indonesia we have access to the services of a very experienced former employee of Phonak, Manfred Stoifl (The Hearing Solution Company, Jakarta). He provides considerable assistance free of charge, in the form of diagnostics, hearing aid adjustment, technical service and training.
